Another connection that I found was how football originated. Football originated from the game of rugby and also from soccer. Knowing this, it helped me clearly understand how football and soccer are similar. Knowing taht these two sports are somewhat similar, I undersand that they both recommend some talent and that to be on the team, the player needs to be a hard worker and a talented person. It also showed me that Paul's parents choose to watch a game that Erik barley plays in, over Paul's game, which he plays in more. Paul's parents care more towards Erik than paul. Now that I now this, I see why paul feels so neglected and unwanted.
